Josephine Jakobi

My children are grown, my grandchildren are thriving; life is good. My focus is art, community and environmental curiosity. Fortunately, I live in a region that satisfies all of this.

My studio is situated at my forever home, Bungalook, near Lakes Entrance, on the edge of the Colquhoun Forest. Here I make my art, which is increasingly centred around the Lake Tyers estuary. Mine is a mixed media practice, with ecology deeply embedded in the process.
